I may change the name of the this blog, or of the book, both.
Funny how something so intrinsic to life can't be traced, but is tied so tightly to all within a family.
Yet, I don't think we'll ever really know how the war on Emily Dickinson began.
Maybe Kell will figure it out....

in the middle of the night...
...is sometimes when the ideas hit.
It was 2 AM, only five hours ago, and I woke, used the loo, got back into bed. This title has been with me for 6 weeks, the idea of a writing contest coming with it. Not a grabber of a plot, but I loved the title so much, I hadn't yet discarded it...
Now I know why. The plot is still about a writer and his beloved, a woman with strong hands. she'll need them, for what's REALLY gonna happen...
No, she's not going to wring his neck, at least not in the physical. But as I lay there, my hubby snorking and snuffling (sometimes he has breathing issues) it was all I could do to hang tight, my mind swirling with names, settings, plot points, all out of the blue, like a hammer emerged, unlocking from gray matter the seeds of a manuscript that suddenly I am DYING to write.
Sigh... No time, unless....
No, no, no more writing multiple books in one month. Especially when they are coming every other month right now. but I'm going to spend much of today, between loads of laundry, scribbling notes. Setting them in the Boll Weevils Looking for a Home folder, then letting it stew.
Still with the Pasty Cline/Bruce Springsteen laden soundtrack; Bruce for Kell, Pasty for Marthe, with varied extra tunes sprinkled through.
Stunning, how that happens, and as of late, the ideas have been just flooding, FLOODING!! Only in April I was wondering just what to do for NANO...
Now I have more ideas than I know when to write!
